A voice shaped
by experience.
Hi, I’m Cylcia, but most people call me Cici. At 19, I was elected as a councillor in my local community, driven by my belief that young people deserve genuine positions of power.
My speaking career has taken me from local schools and community groups to Parliament and international stages. As an established public speaker, I draw on experience across local, national and global platforms to speak about leadership, representation and the next generation.
Since leaving elected office, I’ve made public speaking the focus of my work. I’m determined to use my experience to help the next generation of leaders build the confidence, skills and opportunities to tackle the challenges facing their communities and the wider world.

From studying politics
to serving in it.
Elected to public office at 19 while studying Politics & International Relations at the London School of Economics, I encountered the responsibilities of leadership at an early stage.
My time as a councillor brought the ideas I studied into everyday public life: listening to different perspectives, representing others and considering how decisions affect communities.
Today, I draw on that combination of academic study and first-hand experience in my work as a speaker, consultant and adviser.

Perspective.
Participation. Purpose.
Experience of
elected office.
A former councillor’s perspective on representation, responsibility and the human side of politics.
Ideas with
real-world context.
A background in Politics & International Relations at LSE, connecting political ideas with the realities of public service.
Space for
young voices.
An interest in how young people participate, lead and contribute to the conversations that shape their futures.

Thoughtful exchange.
Fresh possibilities.
Whether I’m speaking to an audience or working around a table, my approach starts with listening, asking questions and understanding the context.
My work brings together leadership, political participation and representation — with an emphasis on conversations people can connect with.
